At the heart of Tikuret’s work is the Gifted Hearts Center — a place where children with special needs receive daily care, nutrition, and support while their mothers gain the freedom to work, learn, and build a future.
Located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, this center exists to remove an impossible burden many families face: choosing between caring for a child and earning an income.
The Acacia Cafe is a space where opportunity is created for mothers within the Tikuret community. We intend to provide a meaningful, steady source of income for women while supporting programs for children with special needs.

The Force Behind The Mission
Born to a middle-class business-owning family in Addis Ababa. She strongly believes that God has called her to support people with special needs, orphaned, and the poorest of the poor community members. With this strong desire, she started helping others while she was quite young.
From bags to shawls to decor, our products lift marginalized mothers out of poverty.
